AI Assist changes for Starter and Team plans

Starting November 9, 2026, AI Assist in Screen and Interview comes in packages, each with its own AI models, features and usage limits.

This page explains what changes for Starter and Team plans, how it affects your tests and interviews, and how to keep frontier AI in your hiring process.
What's changing
- Models up to Sonnet-class, such as Sonnet, standard GPT-5.x, Haiku and Gemini Flash. Frontier models (Opus-class, flagship GPT, Gemini Pro-class) are available with Frontier Lite and above.
- A limit of 1M AI tokens per test or interview.
- New: run up to 2 AI agents at once in a test or interview, so candidates can work with AI the way they would on the job.
How this affects your tests and interviews
- Longer and AI-heavy sessions are most likely to reach the limit. Take-home tests, multi-step builds, and interviews where candidates lean on AI throughout use AI fastest.
- Candidates get different AI help. If your questions or rubrics assume candidates work with frontier models, review them before November 9 and consider Frontier Lite.
- Sessions that reach the limit keep going. The session doesn't stop, but it switches to a lighter model for the rest of the test or interview.
Where to see your AI usage in Interview
You can check how much AI a pad has used at any point during an interview, so you can keep an eye on long or agentic sessions as they approach your limit of 1M per test or interview.
- In an Interview pad, open the AI Assist panel.
- Find the usage indicator, the circle in the top-right corner of the panel, next to the model icons.
- Hover over the indicator to see how many tokens the pad has used so far, for example “You’ve used 48.2K tokens.”
What AI Packages are available
Frontier Lite is a new package for teams that want frontier models and more room for AI-assisted interviews and take-home tests. It's available as its own plan.
For agentic, multi-agent or long take-home interviews at scale, Enterprise plans include the Frontier package, with Frontier Pro and Frontier Max for the most demanding interviews.
