CoderPad July Releases
This month, the CoderPad team focused on making your platform as easy as possible for interviewers and candidates to view data, create tests, and identify suspicious behavior. What’s new in your CoderPad Interview account? Keep reading to find out.
CoderPad Interview Updates
Database Schema Viewer
With the updated database schema view, you and your candidates can more easily visualize the structure of a database when you’re writing SQL queries.
Drawing Mode Enhancements
Our virtual whiteboard tool is getting a complete overhaul – with a new UI, the ability to easily attach lines to shapes, copy/paste, light/dark mode, grids and keyboard shortcuts.
CoderPad Screen Updates
Anti-Cheating Alerts
With the rise of new AI tools, we noticed more and more concerns around cheating. As a response, we’ve improved our cheating alerts to make it easier to detect unusual activities. These alerts are visible on the Screen Tests page, the Insights page, and candidate test results. By clicking on the alert you get more details on candidates’ unusual behavior.
New Test Creation Wizard
We’ve simplified the test creation process. Now after selecting the role, you’ll see suggestions of related technologies so you don’t have to scroll through all the available languages and domains. This will speed up test creation and make it easier to access relevant questions in the question bank. A smart search will also help you spot the right technologies by handling spelling mistakes and synonyms.
New Content in the Question Bank
New coding exercises and a new game have been added to assess your candidates with creative and engaging content. These exercises and games are available for C, C#, C++, Go, Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, PHP, Python 3, Ruby, Scala, Swift, TypeScript – and are available in English, French and Spanish.
